Our Remote Support Service comes in two flavours, both using innovative screen-sharing technology which enables us to quickly and securely solve your computer problems or challenges while you watch and learn wherever you may be. Busy Ideas Remote support service is Fast, Easy and very secure.

With secure and easy to use advanced screen sharing technology, we can trouble-shoot or walk you through computer challenges just like we are sitting right there with you. Even when you are overseas! Our customers really love us for this service.

Our advanced screen sharing technology lets you watch and learn as our experts draw on your screen to help illustrate a concept, install programs and drivers.

How it Works

Simply call us and explain your problem - you will be given a cost estimate; if you wish to proceed we will give you a pin number and ask you to enter that on our website, a small program will be automatically downloaded to your computer and run - you will be asked to confirm once again that you are willing to allow us to interact with you and once you click yes we will be able to connect to your computer and see your screen allowing us to help you deal with your IT issue.

With your permission, your personal expert can share control of your mouse and keyboard through our advanced screen sharing technology. In this manner, a step by step solution can be demonstrated while you watch, click and learn. You have overriding control of your mouse and keyboard and you can end your session at any time by clicking the disconnect button.

Our Remote support service uses 256-bit encryption and is as secure as online banking.

Contract or no contract?

Our remote IT support service comes in two varieties

No Contract
Call us when you need us and pay as you go.

Some example pricing for our non contract service

• Set up an email account £6.00
• 15 minutes tuition (for example how to create a formula in excel, or how to mail merge) £20.00
• Install Anti-virus software £12.00

Contract
Our contract service means you pay just one small fixed fee and get all the technical support you need. We even provide you with some training time with additional training available as a pay as you go.

You also get the following:

• Health check – we will keep an eye on your computers and make sure they are kept up to date with the latest patches and fixes.
• Remote access for you – we give you the ability to easily connect to your own computer remotely when your are away from your desk
• Booked support – We will work on your computer when you are away from the desk or office so we don’t hold you up great for niggling problems that don’t need urgent support.
• Hardware and software audit – Know what you are running on your systems.
• Service Level agreement
• No additional charge for servers – the price you pay for a PC is the price you pay for a server – including server administration. Need a new account set up – tell us and its done!
• Advice – Friendly advice and support on the phone when you need it.
• Hardware – printer or computer totally broken down? We will get you new hardware delivered to you next morning.
• Newsletter – Get our monthly newsletter packed with hints and tips, new legislation and just about everything you need to know about IT.
• On site support in 15 minute blocks* - don't pay for an hours support when we have only been onsite for 10 minutes.
• All this and more for only £5.50 per machine per week.

*Onsite support is only avalible to customers within a close enough proximity to Wrexham, North Wales.
